Each year at Conclave, lodges of E9 (formerly SR-7A) are recognized for their performance throughout the year as well as at Conclave. The seven lodges of the section compete for the following honors:

• Lodge of the Year Award
• Quest for the Golden Arrow
• Spirit Award

Lodge of the Year Award

First presented in 2012, the Lodge of the Year Award recognizes the most exceptional lodge in Section E9.  The evaluation is based on the lodge’s ability to fulfill the basic purposes of the Order of the Arrow and to participate in section events.  Lodges score themselves on objective criteria that are distributed prior to Conclave. The lodge that scores the most points will receive the Lodge of the Year recognition for that year.  The 2024 Lodge of the Year Award application will be posted soon. May the best lodge win!

Spirit Award

The Spirit Award is presented to the lodge deemed to exhibit the most spirit at Conclave based on the following criteria:

1. Creative and enthusiastic support of the Conclave program by the entire lodge
2. Demonstration of Scouting spirit by the entire lodge (including each point of the Scout Law)
3. Proper uniforms worn when appropriate
4. Lodge commitment to providing a food item for the Saturday night feast
